Chillin' On My New Lounge Chair

My mom got this great new lounge chair and it is soooooooooooo much more comfortable than my dog bed on the hard flagstone. I can't resist.

It was bright out and my mom was nice enough to bring me some shades. Maybe too just a wee snack and it would all be perfect ... is that too much for a dog to ask??

A Hard Day At the Office

It's over and we are waiting for the shuttle to pick us up and take us home. It was a fun day and I can't wait to do it again next year. Actually my dad takes me to his office all the time, so although it was fun for me I think it was even more fun for my mom.

I met some other nice dogs, took a few walks, and met a TON of people. It was exhausting. I don't know how my mom does this everyday! Here is a pic of me resting in her office.

So today is official "Take Your Dog to Work Day" (TYDTWD). Here is a picture of me on the company shuttle riding in to work. I was the only dog on the shuttle and I was very well behaved (but of course!). Not a peep out of me. I just lay on my mom's lap. I had a good peek out the window though when we went over the Bay Bridge - I wasn't sure if it was boats or birds out there.

Hot Pink Toenail Caps

I don't know if you saw my post with my leg xrays, but if you did you would know that my front legs are a bit wonky. Aside from all the other issues, I have a permanent limp on my left side. Part of my left wrist joint is fused and so when I walk two of my nails drag. They get really short and if I walk too much on pavement they some times hit the quick and bleed. My mom used to use duct tape but then she found these cool caps (they're called Soft Paws). They work great - my nails have grown longer underneath them!

There is also the added bonus of more attention as everyone thinks I had my nails painted - they have to stop and comment, and say 'hi' ... and of course, I have to lick them!
